My recommendation would be to enter the full dividend (3.5 shares) on 9/2. On 9/15 (or whenever the cash-in-lieu is actually credited to your account), enter a sale of 0.5 shares for the cash-in-lieu amount. This will allow your club to generate the correct valuation ...

Default account
Is there a way to change the 'default account' in Bivio? Every time I enter a dividend, the default deposit account is 'suspense' and I'd like to change to the brokerage account. Thanks, Brian
