Thank you for your answers to my questions!

I will register the club in VA.  I want to make sure that I
understand.  So, I will try to summarize:

1> for New York, all non-NY resident members require to file
in NY.  But, non-NY resident members are not paying taxes in
NY, right?  I am assuming that NY is only collecting
information, not to collect taxes from non-NY resident
members...
No. The club must file a return in NY because it has NY-resident members. The club must identify the NYS residents on the NYS return. NY nonresidents do not file anything with NYS.

2> for New Jersey members, since I will be registering the
club in VA, I am assuming that NJ members do not have to pay
the annual fee of $150/partner.  And, unlike NY, non-NJ
resident members do not required to file in NJ.
Again, the club will not have to file in NJ if it is not registered in NJ. The $150 fee is a club fee, not a fee on the individuals. As long as the club is not registered in NJ, it doesn't have to worry about this. NJ nonresidents do not file anything in NJ.

3> for Virginia, non-VA resident members do not require to
file in VA.
Correct, and as of now, the club doesn't have to file either.

Am I correct with the above summary?
Almost. My corrections were included above.

Hi Ira,

After registering the club in VA, basically, the club has to
file a NY State return only for NY resident members.

For VA and NJ resident members, the club does not file
anything for their States.

Am I correct? I hope that I finally understand these.

Thank you for taking your time to answer my questions,
again.
