Default account
Is there a way to change the 'default account' in Bivio?
Every time I enter a dividend, the default deposit account
is 'suspense' and I'd like to change to the brokerage
account.

Thanks,

Brian
Brian,

I believe that the accounts come up alphabetical order, so Suspense is
probably the first one listed. Be advised that names starting with
non-caps will come up after the the ones starting with caps. If you want
your broker a/c to come up first, you could edit the name to ABroker.

By default the selected account is the one which last received a
member deposit. If you drill into the investment by selecting the
'transactions' link and then enter a transaction, the default account
is the account of the last entry for that investment.

We'll consider updating the software so the default investment account
is distinct from the default member account.

Thanks, Paul. I typically place the member deposits in the
suspense account, and then transfer them to the brokerage
when they are posted.
Thus, when I enter a dividend, it always comes up with
suspense as the default.
I'd look forward to an option where I can set that default.

Thanks,

Brian
