Where is SSL encryption for bivio?
I don't see the option now for SSL encryption.

With our modern computers and high speed connection, I
believe that the default for SSL should be enabled.
Even if you want to provide for older computers , I believe
that SSL enabled should be the default and give the user the
option of turning off their SSL, rather than the other way
around.

thank you.
With the new release, all pages are now automatically SSL encrypted.

It is no longer an option you have to set.

What is SSL encryption, anyway?

Sorry, but it is not.

If the page were encrypted, the address bar would begin with
https://

I confirmed this fact by using Firefox, Tools, Page Info,
Security, which says the page in NOT Encrypted.

Thank you for your attention.

SSL encryption is used to encode the web page and
information transferred over the internet to and from you in
a secure manner so that anyone between you and the server
cannot openly see that information, including SSNs and
addresses of your members, tax forms, etc.

In the past, Bivio defaulted to displaying the pages without
SSL encryption.

Right now, even though Ms. Frederiksen says it is SSL
encrypted, the web browser says it is not.

It ensures the communication between your browser and our servers is
secure and private.

You'll see an "https" in your address bar when SSL is enabled.

Rob
In the mean time, you can put an "s" at the end of the "http" in your
address bar on any page, and your connection will remain secure.

Cheers,
Rob
I still (11:46am 2/5/10) see (going to http://) that it doesn't
automatically switch to SSL. I can easily manually change the link to
https://, but it's not doing it automatically (in Firefox)
