You can't edit a withdrawal but it is fine to delete it and re-enter it.
Here are the steps you should follow:
- Print out the withdrawal report so you have a record of the parameters you originally used. (you can get to it from the Withdrawal Reports link on the Accounting>Reports page).
- Open the
member transactions list and
delete the withdrawal entry.
- Re-enter the withdrawal using the correct parameters (transaction date, valuation date, etc.)
If you already paid a withdrawal and you gave your member the wrong amount, you will need to adjust the withdrawal entry to reflect what they received. There are two cases:
You Paid Them Too Little: If the amount you paid the member is less than what bivio is calculating they were owed, adjust the amount by entering a fee for the difference. If you already entered a fee, add the difference to the amount you originally used.
You Paid Them Too Much: If the amount you paid the member is greater than what bivio is calculating they were owed, adjust the amount by entering a negative fee (a negative amount). If you already entered a fee, subtract the difference from the amount you originally used.
