Fictious Name Our newly created investment partnership (and club), is titled Tactical Gains Investment Fund. I have applied for and received our EIN. Does anyone know how, or if is necessary, to register the name of our partnership with state authorities (Pennsylvania)? Also I was wondering in PA if you have to file with the department of Revenue as well? Can't seem to find out for sure. Dear David, If you go to this page: http://www.dos.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt/community/corporation_bureau/12457 There are phone numbers you can use to call the appropriate people in Pennsylvania to ask your question about fictitious names. You do need to file PA state partnership taxes.
