There are some interesting things beginning in terms of proposals for ways to change our current tax filing system. The public is you. The process involves public comment and you have an opportunity to have your say, directly to the people who are making the decisions. I hope that if this is an item that concerns you, that you do so.

One of the things that is exciting in today's world is that you can follow what is happening within our government agencies by following information releases directly from the agencies themselves. The IRS actually does a really good job of spreading out information. They even have a Facebook page and quite a few email lists you can subscribe to.

It all helps to disseminate the thinking that there is a "Them", that is unapproachable by "Us". If you want to get involved, your opinions are being solicited and they are trying to get the information out to as many people as they can.
