Field Trips
This is a great Idea for a club field trip also.

One of my clubs owned Chipotle earlier this year. We did really well with it and we did briefly consider driving several hours to see what one of their restaurants was like. We even considered dressing up like burritos so we could get a free one during a promotion they were running around Halloween.

There's nothing wrong with having a little fun!

Ladies Investment 10 of Lubbock (TX) made a field trip to the local Tractor Supply store--this isaa stock that we own. We had lunch prior to the visit for some social time and then went to the store and had a very good interview with the manager and also the regional manager who happened to be there that day. We asked questions about the business and discovered that another store will be opened in our city. We explored the store and observed other people and their shopping choices. We had a great time!
We had made advanced arrangements with the manager for the visit. This visit took the place of a regularly scheduled study session and did not take the place of our regular investment club meeting.

This field trip was so successful that we have decided to visit another business in which we hold stock. In July,( a month in which we do not hold a formal investment club meeting) we will again use our study session date to have lunch and visit the local Fastinal store.

Investing can be a lot of fun!
