Interest on money market funds
Our club switched from etrade to a local broker who uses
Liberty Partners Financial Services for his accounts.
Last year there was interest on the cash.
This year not a penny to date; there is $3295.93 in cash.
I've asked him to look into it but have not received an
answer.
Have repeated this question monthly.

I'm looking to the more experienced treasurers for an
opinion.
Would you be as concerned as I am?

The question should not be about the interest, but about the "local" broker choice. Most bivio clubs use an online low-cost online brokerage that syncs with bivio. Check out those choices and decide how to make the most of the online services and education offered by bivio and the brokerages that sync. Do not make things harder for the treasurer or the members. I agree with the last reply--CHANGE BROKERS!
