Member withdrawal - cash and security
Our club will transfer one block of stock and enough cash to
equal her shares on March 31.
We own a company and there are 3 blocks of stock.
There is an initial purchase followed by a split where the
basis is zero. The third block was purchased several years
later.
When I do the basis calculations for my own companies, I
divide the cost between the initial shares and the split
shares.

As I look at Bivio, I'm not sure the math will be the same
as my calculations.
Any advice?

If you entered the split correctly in bivio, the basis of block 1 was divided between blocks 1 and 2. bivio will handle the payoff correctly.

If you have any doubts, you can use your demo club to test out the transactions or you can contact bivio support. They can look at your data directly to see if there are any problems.
