Investing in Mutual funds

Market I am concern on the effect this would have at tax
time with the bivio programm could you tell me how or if it
would ? thank you Lise
Generally, there isn't much of a problem with mutual funds. They sometimes reclassify dividends so you'll have to edit some entries. Some funds have January distributions that are taxable in December, but that's also fairly rare. My biggest issue with investment clubs investing in mutual funds is that they are difficult to adequately research and you're losing out on a major reason for having an investment club, learning.

Hi Lise,

I believe the fund you are talking about has the ticker VWO.  Someone just asked about this fund recently on this list and I did  a little research on it for her.

Here is the link to that answer.

There’s no bivio or tax issues but I do think Ira makes a good point when it comes to investing in mutual funds.
