We have a member who has withdrawn and the club has decided
to transfer stock and cash into her name.
How do we select the stock? Transfer winners?

In prior years we have sold stock and offered the
withdrawing member the cash from the sale.

In the past, many clubs have it written into the Articles and/or
By-Laws. It specifies how the club handles a buy-out.

In a lot of cases, if there is enough cash and the W/D Member accepts
that method, it is a simple thing.
If it becomes a stock transfer, the decision of which stock is at the
hands of the Club, not the exiting member.
You can transfer any stock of choice. It still is a simple thing if
you follow the directions set out by Bivio.

The key to the entire transaction is "how did you write it up in your
Articles of Association?"

Can you generate the withdrawal report more than once for
comparison? We would like to see a report for a stock
transfer and a report for a cash withdrawal?
