We own BP as a direct investment instead of thru a brokerage
account. We normally have one of our members send in a
deposit directly to BP. Until this month. We got a letter
saying due to the new regs, they cannot accecpt "...personal
checks for deposit into business shareowner accounts." That
sucks! I have not gotten (yet) a similar letter from the
other stocks we have with direct deposit. Is this something
others have run into? What have you done about it? Seems
this is detrimental to investing! Your thoughts?
