NJ Tax Electronic Filing
Our club is based in NJ and now has more than 10 members so
I need to file NJ 1065 electronically. However, the NJ
taxation dept requires a 12-digit ID:
-----
https://www1.state.nj.us/TYTR_BusinessFilings/jsp/common/Login.jsp?taxcode=43

{Your Federal or NJ Taxpayer Identification Number must be
twelve digits long. Enter number without dashes or slashes.}

Fed EIN is only 9 digits - how do I get 12 ?

Partnership ID

This is a twelve-digit ID consisting of the nine-digit FEIN/SSN followed by a three-digit suffix assigned to you by the Division of Taxation. If you do not have a suffix, enter three zeros. Enter the number without dashes, slashes, or any other keystrokes.

Your 12 digit NJ EIN is your 9 digit federal EIN with '000' at the end.
