Suggestion: "Reply to All" button instead of "reply"
More than once I have , or someone in the club has,
'replied' to an email in the club mail and told something
confidential to the whole club. Has anyone ever aired this
concern? we are trained by our servers that we can reply
one on one with the person who wrote the message.

NOT so, bivio! it gives you one option: reply. I
eventually forget again......

Like I did tonight. divulged some really private
information that was strictly between us. myself and one
other person.

could this be discussed in your R & D of next year's
model?

does anyone have any ink and paper safe suggesions. i waww

Hi Deannie,

Actually there is a way you can change who
replies to club messages go to.

In Administration>Tools>Edit Club Configuration

you will find a setting which says

Set Reply for Club Email

The default setting is that it is checked. In this case when you
reply to an email someone has sent to the whole club, your answers also
go to the whole club. This allows you to have club discussions.

If you uncheck the box, replies to emails sent to the
club will only go back to the person who originally
sent the email.

Email lists are great ways to communicate but if you
use them you do need to be careful to think about who
your reply is going to.

I think about that all the time when I answer questions on this
list.
