Bivio Backup & Recovery

Prior to retiring I worked in the computer software industry
for decades.
There was an old "saw" that said, Backup is easy, Recovery
is generally not.

Has anyone ever had occasion to use the BIVIO XML recovery
file? Successfully?

Any suggestion as how one might go about testing recovery
without totally disrupting everything?

I've used the xml files to help other clubs locate and fix problems. They send me their xml file and I import it into a "club" that I maintain for testing purposes.

If you just want to check the integrity of the xml file, you should be able to import it into your demo club. (Everyone has access to a demo club as part of their subscription.)
