I am attempting to Edit Opening Balances for my club. I
used 1/1/09 as the switch over date.

I entered my stocks and when I move forward I have - The
acquisition date may not be greater than the accounting
switch over date.

When I attempt to change the switch over date, the system
tells me that I need to use Jan 1 of the current year.

Dear Elaine,

As we discussed, (for reference by anyone else), the transactions entered on the Edit Opening
Balances forms should be those that have occurred prior to the switchover date. Any transactions
since that date are entered in the regular way using the appropriate buttons on the appropriate
screens.
