Short Term Capital Gain Disparity

It appears that bivio is not syncing the correct tax lot
selections from the sale of shares, resulting in a major
disparity between the capital gains report in bivio, and the
capital gains report from our brokerage website on etrade.
As a result, this has also thrown off our balance sheet and
income statements. How would you go about correcting this
mistake? Is there a way to fix this problem so it does not
keep happening? Everything else seems to be
syncing/reporting just fine, and I am sure it is not a date
issue, as we only began investing this past June and set up
our etrade and bivio accounts at the same time.

This is the type of issue that is much better handled with bivio support, rather than club_cafe. I will open a ticket for you in support, and we can then investigate the problem. It may very well be that it is ETrade that is at fault. Brokers are just starting to attempt to keep track of costs, and it may be that they have not done it correctly.
