Dissoltuion of Club

Dissoltuion of Club The current economy has made it necessary to disband. We are a 10 year plus club--so it is rather sad. We had half the club quit in November and the 7 left were not happy. So we have sold all outr stock and are awaiting dividends. My logic would say that we would have to buy Bivio in 2010 to produce our K-1's and such. But I read an email in this type of discussion back in 2005 or 2006 that stated we could in fact use this year's(2009) tax program. Could that be true? Perhaps the thought was the IRS wouldn't care too much about our losses!! I would appreciate any help on this!! Sandy Starr Profit Prophets Dear Sandy, We are sorry to hear that. November was a discouraging month for investors. It's too bad that would cause the demise of your club. Things seem to be picking up again. It appears as though all the turmoil may mean there are some really nice investing options available. To answer your question, first make sure you have received all your dividends. Then, if your bivio subscription is still current, you may use it to prepare a final, partial year tax return within 90 days of your final transaction. You will find this as an option by selecting 2009 on the dropdown menu on the Accounting>Taxes page. That is just what I needed! The club had been struggling for awhile with some personality conflicts and an inability often to make good decisions. So it didn't take much to have mutiny of sorts. The 7 of us left did not seem to want to increase our monthly dues and therefore we didn't have enough money to buy yet. So there is the frustration. We should be able to use the 2009 Tax program in a timely manner. That is really a good thing!!! Thanks for your reply. I will miss the Club Cafe. It has been interesting, informative, and sometimes funny!!! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Laurie Frederiksen" <laurie@bivio.biz> To: "'The Club Cafe'" <club_cafe@bivio.com> Sent: Thursday, May 21, 2009 2:59 PM Subject: RE: club_cafe: Dissoltuion of Club > Dear Sandy, > > We are sorry to hear that.
