I have a husband and wife that share an email address. In
bivio, I can only invite one to log on. Is there a way to
fix this?

Also, their names to do appear when I try to re-invite them
to log on to bivio. Not sure why?

Re: the first problem.
Not your problem. I suppose if you solve the second problem,
you could put HUSBAND as the first word of text in his
invite, and WIFE as the first word in hers.
But if they can't be bothered to share the word with one
another, that's their problem, not yours. They undoubtedly
face this with all other people who e-mail them, so it's
incumbent on THEM to solve their problem.

Dear Barb,
We use email addresses as unique identifiers so online members must have
unique email addresses. There are two
alternatives for members who share email addresses.

Ask the members to get a free email account at one of the major sites
(hotmail, yahoo, etc.). This will allow them to register with
bivio. Having separate mail addresses has advantages for the other
members, since they can distinguish between the two people in the
"From" line of mail messages to the club.

Or, as you have already done, only bring one of the members online. The
members who share email
can also share the bivio User ID of the online member. Both members
are in the books (one online, the other offline). Typically, members
which share an email address also share the same computer. Sharing
the same bivio User ID is therefore convenient. The only drawback with this
approach comes at tax time. There will only be one set of K-1's displayed
when they login. You will have to email or mail them the forms for the
second person.
