Change Club Name

Sorry about the lack of clarity--I need to change the name that is printed on the bivio tax form 1065 because it is not the name previously used for IRS filing or by our broker and credit union. I have since sent a more detailed question to bivio support.

When I bring up the club's 1065, it allows me to change anything I want. You should be able to do that today and have support fix it for you at a later date - provided you just want to get you taxes done this weekend.

To change your club name, visit Administration | Info and
click on the "Name" link.

Thanks, Lynn. Bivio Support showed me how to use Administration and change the name in an instant. Always learning something new from Club Cafe and Bivio Support.

You can edit it directly on each pdf form. Of course, this is just a workaround. I'm sure bivio support can change it for you "permanently" in your datafile.

The name in Administration > Info is the same name that appears on
your tax return. You just have to retake the partnership tax
interview to regenerate your taxes.

I did change the Administration>info name, and when I reloaded the return, it had changed without even retaking the very quick interview.

Thanks to both club cafe and bivio support for all your timely help! It's also an education just to read the threads of others.
