Unidentified transactions

Unidentified transactions I receive a notice from bivio everytime we make a deposit that requests that I classify the source and type of deposit or withdraw. When I go to do that, I am given the option via a drop-down window to select account transfer, multiple payment, single payment, or single fee. I apologize that the answer should be obvious, but I am unclear on whether it should be sngle fee or payment. And, if a member pays for two other members, is that a multiple payment that gets credited to him automatically and I have to sort out? If so, how do I do it. Don't worry, once I get going with this, I want ask too many more questions. Thanks! Johnny In a message dated 12/26/08 16:54:50 Eastern Standard Time, duncanjohnny@bivio.com writes:
Generally, you want either multiple or single payment if the deposit is your members' monthly contribution. Multiple payment allows you to assign all of the deposits that day in a single transaction. This is often easier than dealing with each check separately.
If one member pays for others, you have to sort it out yourself. You'll probably have to delete the entry and enter separate entries for each member.
You may want to consider using the "penny" method to identify your deposits. See the help files for instructions.
