I had a breech of privacy on bivio. Someone emailed to a
member that they downloaded our phonelist.

Sunday I had checked all folders. I had forgotten this makes
them all public.

My question:
Files
   Public Folder
   Member folder

1. Should there be checks only in the public folder and the
files you want seen? What about that top level "Files"
folder?
2. Does that get checked or unchecked?
3,. Does every single file that you want to be seen by all
public need a check if it is in a folder that is checked?

4. Where can I read about this? Bivio help was not very
clear, what I found anyway.

If you stored your phone numbers in the Roster page, then the numbers
would not be made public. There's no way to do this. I suspect you
stored this in a file, which is generally not a very good idea.

If the main Files folder is not checked as public, then no one will be
able to see your Public folder.

Yes, you need to check files to make them public. This is a security
measure to make sure files aren't accidentally made public.

numerous help files. Probably the best one discussing this is the
