Hi Deannie,
Toolkit 5 is used to analyze stocks. It is completely different from bivio
which is used for club accounting. Our club has used both for many years
with great success.

They are unrelated.

I think Toolkit does a fabulous job but you do need to learn how to use it and not just "plug in" numbers. Remember that it's a tool not the final result.

To review and question data presented on the form about a company. Alert you to symptoms of an ill company. Use it to evaluate companies. I doesn't do the accounting for the club or for your personal holdings.

Toolkit 5 is for stock analysis. bivio is an accounting program. Let me
put in a plug for the relatively new online program in BI. If you purchase
TK5, you will have to enter all data manually unless you subscribe to the
data feed from BI. If you subscribe to that, it is only a little more to
subscribe to the Online Tools which takes you through the stock analysis at
a very basic level. There are some drawbacks to the Online Tools, but
overall my club members are happy with it. It can be used by Mac users and
you can log in on any computer since it is web based.
