Kevin, Do you have a homepage?  If you haven't already created your own, bivio defaults to the administrative start-up screen.  If you see standard little "lock" it lets you know that you are on a secure page (accounting or administrative), and it has nothing to do with your homepage since unregistered guests will never see those pages, anyway,

 

If you already have a homepage, you would look for a file on your Files page called "index".  You would simply download that page to your computer (along with any graphic files associated with the page) and modify it as needed.
