error on member"s withdrawal - it was deducted twice I am the incoming treasurer for our club. The outgoing treasurer is leaving our club and made a mistake which caused her cashout to be deducted twice, once as a non-deductible expense and once as a full withdrawal. How should I fix this??? Also, what is Cc above If you are saying that an entry was made reducing cash and
charging non-deductible expense, that entry should be deleted.
Rip West Saint Paul, MN Quite simple, Elnora. Delete the non-deductible expense, an absolutely ridiculous way to do a withdrawal. The withdrawal screen transaction takes care of all the necessary deductions from cash, no other entries are needed. I would suggest you very carefully compare your records against your broker to be sure cash and amounts of stock on hand, including any reinvested fractions, are the same.
