Owned BIOMET (BMET) stock, they merged with Blackstone
group. Our group sold the stock and received $464.55 on
9/26/07.
I am trying to prepare the groups 2007 Taxes and, am having
a difficult time recording this transaction. I selected
"Merger" under accounting and attempted to complete the
screen. When asked to input BIomet's ticker symbol, (BMET)
the message "ticker symbol not found" was returned. I tried
to record this transaction under "Sold" as well, with the
same results.
Please help me record this transaction, as today is the last
day to submit the 2007 taxes.
