We have a member withdrawing and I'm following the One You leave it alone. Your broker account is the one being used to fund the
withdrawal.

Now the account-sync summary report has an unidentified debit for the check I wrote on our brokerage account to pay our member her withdrawal amount in cash. What is the correct way to post this unidentified expense - do I choose account transfer, expense, or member withdrawal? I already have a debit on the journal for the same amount from running the member withdrawal process before I wrote the check. How do I make sure I don't wind up with the same debit on the books twice? I really appreciate your help! You can tell I'm not an accountant... Sherrill |
