Your valuation date for the January checks is the valuation date BEFORE the checks were received, not after the checks were received. Those checks buy units on the date they were received, but the value of each unit was established on the previous valuation date.

We just updated our P.A. to be clear on what the valuation
date is, and specified it is the Friday before the meeting.
So yesterday 2/08/08 was the valuation date for the January
14 checks that were deposited in TDAmeritrade on 1/31/08.

In bivio, I am unable to enter a TRANSACTION DATE of 1/31
and a VALUATION DATE of 2/8.

I'm really tempted to once again change the PA so the
Valuation Date is the same as the Brokerage Statement date.
That way, I can compare the Brokerage Statement with the
Valuation Report they will be the same date.
