Reverse Splits and Cost Basis per Share

Reverse Splits and Cost Basis per Share In comparing CA3 software with Bivio, I find a difference in the Valuation Statement Report as to how the 2 applications computed my cost basis per share for a stock that had a reverse split. Nortel Networks experienced a 1 for 10 reverse split. Our Shares went from 182 to 18. The .2 shares we received in cash. CA3 increased the Price per share for the 18 shares from 8.4669 to 85.61, a ten fold increase, and the Total Cost Basis was 1540.98, which was exactly what the Total cost Basis was before the reverse split. Bivio left the Cost Basis per share at 8.4672 (did not increase the price per share), resulting in a Total Cost Basis of 152.41. Which is correct? Dan Dupree Treasurer Wright Investors' Club If it was, indeed, a reverse stock split, and bivio comes
up with a total cost substantially less than the original, then your bivio
records are in error.
