TD Conversion Problem- Interset activity in 5/1/42007 Our club is planning to subscribe the Bivio and have some problems in the input of TDWaterhouse to TDAmeritrdae conversion. We input the interest as ($1.82-$0.63=$1.19) and yearly total interest showed less due to $0.63 in the Bivio. I am not sure how to do the debit in the interest account in the Bivio accounting. Do I have to enter as 1.82 in the interest account and then, buy and sell 0.63 shares of TDA ($1 each) to offset. Or, any other ways we can do it. I appreciate you help. Please see the following: DIVIDEND AND INTEREST ACTIVITY DEBIT CREDIT INTEREST ON 5/14/2007 TD BANK USA NA 1.82 MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT FDIC INSRD NOT COVERED BY SIPC MONTHLY INTEREST INTEREST ON 5/21/2007 TD BANK USA NA MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT FDIC INSRD NOT COVERED BY SIPC MONTHLY INTEREST ADJUSTMENT 0.63 Hi, since I use TDA myself, I think I can answer for you. They will be sending a consolidated 1099 at the end of Jan. that will include the transactions under the old TDW and the new TDA for the past year, that should pick up that difference, and you will be OK. Don't do anything yet til you get the 1099. Gene Rooks, SWIM, Orlando |
