Website design I'd like to design my club's bivio site this year. I'd like to use one of the free open source website designs, but have never done this before. Have any of you? and would you care to share any comments? I like something like this: http://stockherd.com/blog/ http://stockherd.com/mic/ How easy is it to change the template, if I create something and don't like it, if I want to keep the same files and file/directory structure thanks, Etana Happy New Year, Etana. I have some comments. 1) Don't let the tail wag the dog. Your investment club should be top priority. Don't spend 80% of your time maintaining a website. If you are not proficient at it, make and keep it simple. 2) The stockherd people are either professionals or hobbyists. "Free open source" doesn't mean it's for amateurs. You have all you need at your disposal here on bivio. Just search for free graphics, find something SIMPLE, and get back to me or tech support for some help. 3) I recommend that all clubs put their time and effort into making their Files Page as efficient as possible. This is the page that all members can add to. Etana, there are cheap programs available at www.download.com or at Officemax and Office Depot (and Best Buy) for $49-$69 that you can use to create webpages. Why maintain a website here at bivio and another one elsewhere? Let me know if you need help. Cheers, Rob Lynn and Rob, I'm actually a graphic artist and own Dreamweaver, but I always struggle with it.
