My investment club bought 60 shares of a stock on 10/17/07.
Although our other club holdings' valuations are updated
regularly, this new holding's valuation is locked into the
10/17/07 date and keeps the price at which we bought the
stock instead of the current price.

How do I change this? Should I "delete" the transaction and
input it all over again? Please help. This is very
frustrating.

This seems to be a somewhat common problem. For most clubs
it's never an issue. The symptom shows up on the Accounting
> Investments page: all but one or two of the investments have a current valuation date, but the one or two never get updated valuations.

The problem is that these investments are being treated as
unlisted. The way to fix it is to visit the Administration
> Tools > Identify Listed Investments page:

(Note: That tool is hidden for clubs that don't have
unlisted investments -- just in case any of you who don't
have this problem go looking for that tool and don't find
it. :-)
