acct sync with Ameritrade
Our Bivio acct is never 100% in sync with Ameritrade. It
seems that Ameritrade credits interest on the fly but the
actual transaction only happens at the end of the month.
This is my best guess at what's going on. Our Bivio e-mail
use to say that the "acct balances agree". We never get
that message anymore. Can Bivio look at the actual MM
balance instead of the daily balnce when doing it's
comparison. That way, the acct balances may "agree" making
the Treasurer's task much easier.

We agree - that seems to be what is happening.

Ameritrade doesn't report a reliable balance to AccountSync, so we removed the balance information from the AccountSync message. This bug affects Quicken users as well. Until Ameritrade addresses the problem, your club will need to compare the balance against the brokerage statement each month.

You are correct, and it is often worse. I happen to have an
Ameritrade account. My cash balance often disagrees
with the amount available for withdrawal. It seems Ameritrade's
systems are not in sync with each other.

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Indeed with some Ameritrade
accounts, we don't even get the interest entry.

The best thing to do is to make sure your balance agrees once
a month.
