Account Discrepancy
Our Bivio balance differs from our TD Ameritrade balance by
a substantial amount. The difference appears to relate to
our membership dues being counted twice. Can anyone help us
correct this?
You probably ok'd the auto deposit and then entered the members dues individually. Our club did the same thing initially. You just have to go in and identify the deposits with the corresponding member.

Yes, Charles. If you have manually entered your membership dues when you
send in your deposit, which I recommend, you then need to delete the
broker's receipt of those funds. You should be able to tell easily enough,
look at a journal report for the time period in question, and delete the
brokers automatic entry. You should be reconciling every month, cash and
shares on hand. Account Synch may be great, but it doesn't take the place
of vigilance on the part of the treasurer. Gene Rooks, Space Coast
