Merging two members into one?

Merging two members into one? Hi -- Hope this isn't a foolish question, but I'll admit I'm a newbie not only to Bivio but to investment clubs in general. But I suddenly find myself tasked with trying to determine how to merge two members into one, so to speak. Our club has decided to double everyone's monthly contributions, which was fine with everyone -- except for one couple who wanted to keep them at the same level. The suggestion came up that if they simply became one member putting in $50 instead of two people putting in $25 each, then their monthly contribution continues to match everyone else's. OK, sounds reasonable. But how do I do that? What steps do I take? I sense that perhaps one member "withdraws" from the club but how do I transfer his valuation into her account? or B) is this possible? or C) am I not even understanding the problem correctly? Thanks in advance-- --Larry in Dallas If I understand what you are describing, you can change any member's investment contribution to any amount you want without manipulating any member accounts. Can't you just record that each half of the "couple" put in $25, while the rest of the members put in $50? Hope this helps, but, as I said, perhaps I'm not getting what you are explaining.
