Hey Bob,

Talk to your home owner's insurance agent. Mine is American Family and my
agent told me that most companies have bonds. You just have to shop around.

I thought yours was a newer club (I may be wrong). If so, why do you feel
the need for a bond? My club is 6-1/2 years old and we have around $20,000
in total assets. Every year at the annual meeting, we ask members to vote
on whether or not they feel the need for a bond. So far, it has never
passed. I'm guessing that's because we are very transparent in the way we
handle our books.

Personally, if I were in a club where I didn't trust the treasurer, I'd be
gone.
