Exdividend dates missing from automatic transactions

Exdividend dates missing from automatic transactions I noticed many of our automatically generates dividend transactions do not have exdividend dates on them and they should up as dividend rather than as a qualified dividend. If I go into the transactions and tell it to look up the exdividend date, then the dividend becomes qualified. Is this a step expected of us rather than done automatically? If I don't do this, won't we end up with a bunch of non-qualified dividends at the end of the year and the associated tax implications? Thanks, Jeff Jeffrey L Williams wrote:

When you take the Partnership Tax Interview at the end of the year, all of the club's dividends will be automatically audited and will be given the qualified status if appropriate. Until then, you don't need to worry about it. Paul Moeller bivio, Inc. Thanks, Paul.
