Importing data from Club acctg 3
I am trying to import from club acctg 3 and the export file
created by ClubAcctg has an .icd file extension and will not
import. I can't fid the .MDB file that the BIVIO
instructions say to look for. Any suggestions?
Geoffrey,
I think it is a "hidden file." I followed the instructions
on bivio REALLY carefully and it worked for me.

With the icd file, you then need to install the free demo of
Club Accounting for Windows (not online CAO). Import that
icd file. Export a backup.

Go to the bivio page online, where there is a "browse" button
to get the file. If you don't see the "applications folder"
(I didn't), type it in, as they instruct. Voila! the mbd
file shows its nasty little self.

good luck!

Thanks for the clue. The file wasn't exactly where the
instructions said it would be. I originally searched for
files with the mdb extension and found nothing. I added
searching for hidden files using the file search option and
up popped the club accting data file. Thanks again

Geoffrey

What folder was it in?

Cheers,

Hello,

I signed up for Bivio a couple of days ago and now I'm getting copies of
these emails. Did I do something wrong?

Mark, no, you did something that should prove very helpful to you. You can
opt out of it, but a lot of good questions and answers will appear here on
accounting situations you may run into. Don't throw out the baby with the
bathwater ;-) The delete button is real handy. Gene Rooks
