A challenge in Bivio and Club Accounting Online
Hello:


I am doing a test run with Bivio and Club Accounting Online.
(My annual maint. fee for Club Accounting is coming due and
I would like to see if these make life any easier). I have
transferred one clubs books to both these services from Club
Accounting v 3 without a hitch, everthing looks OK.

However, in the other club where I am treasurer, I attempted
the same thing. In both Bivio and CAO, one member
completely disappeared and I found my name associated with
the missing member's units and valuation units. Did anyone
else experience anything like this? If so, how can one
correct/work around the problem?

We can solve this problem. I suspect it is a bug in the CAO data, or
in a false matching on the import side into bivio. Email
support@bivio.com, and we'll look into it.

Actually the data transfer came from the desktop version of
Club Accounting v. 3. Interestingly enough, the same bug
developed in both of the online web services I am
auditioning, both Bivio and Online Club Accounting. I
suspect the challenge must exist with my data--but, all
along our "internal" numbers have agreed and the audits have
never turned anything up whether on paper (back in the day)
or computerized.
