Can an investment club be changed to a hedge fund in
structure without any legal problems in the transition, or
are there some legal requirements to do this? What are the

If you have to ask the question, you probably aren't ready to become a hedge
fund. I suggest that you visit
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hedge_fund and look at the requirements for SEC
and accredited investors before you go too far.

requirements. Does starting as a different entity cause a
