club_cafe: member withdrawal

I don't get it.  Why would you have to do anything except delete the AutoSynch entry?   The information on the WD entry is already to correct as to date paid, amount, and removal from available cash in the cash journal.   So why fool with Suspense, or anything else but just delete the unneeded AS entry?   Gene  Rooks
It might depend on how long it took for the withdrawing member to cash/deposit the check. If it's only a matter of days, I would just delete the AutoSync entry. If the check were outstanding for an extended period of time, I might want to explicitly show the reason the software cash balance doesn't match the bank/broker cash balance without having to look back for an old transaction. That's just my personal preference, not necessarily a recommendation for other clubs to follow.

Well, I hope not! <g> Seems to me that we get enough questions on accounting without the treasurers' trying to make entries to account for outstanding checks.
