You can "pay" the withdrawal form the Suspense account when you run the withdrawal report. Then when the AutoSync transaction appears, convert it to a cash transfer to the Suspense account.

In other words, instead of saving steps, AutoSync would actually be adding a step. I ask again, isn't there just a way that you don't have to accept the autosync prompted entry for the payoff?
The AutoSync entry will appear automatically. <g> No matter what you decide to do, you will have to review the entry and do "something". If you choose to "ignore" the entry, you have to delete it from your database. If you choose to fund the withdrawal from Suspense and then identify the AutoSync transaction as a cash transfer to Suspense, you have to edit the transaction. The end result will be the same either way, it's just a question of how you want your historical financial records to appear when you audit them.

So, again, just in case anyone missed it <g>, in this case, AutoSync is adding a step rather than saving the treasurer steps.

I don't get it.  Why would you have to do anything except delete the AutoSynch entry?   The information on the WD entry is already to correct as to date paid, amount, and removal from available cash in the cash journal.   So why fool with Suspense, or anything else but just delete the unneeded AS entry?   Gene  Rooks

I agree. The unwanted Autosync entry is the only thing you have to change. Delete it. Previously, I was asking the question if you could just ignore it. Ira says no. So the easiest thing to do is just delete it.

I'm glad you guys aren't in product marketing. ;-) The product is
called AccountSync.

We would like to make the withdrawal process simpler. It's too
complicated now, because it asks too many questions all at once, and
yes, it doesn't automatically link up the check, which it could do,
obviously. For now, all of what you discussed is explained in The One
Minute Treasurer guide:

http://www.bivio.com/club_cafe/files/TheOneMinuteTreasurer.pdf

We are going to be simplifying bivio even more to address this and
other "make work" items. Priority is on a database upgrade that is
in progress and will be for a few more months.

Cheers,
Rob

Cheers, Rob!

Just a quick note to say it would be helpful if you would include a page
number when you refer
a biviot to the "One Minute Treasurer" guide! You probably have the guide
memorized by chapter
and verse, but it would take more than "One Minute" for the individual
seeking additional information
to peruse the 44 page guide to find an answer. Adding a page number would
be helpful.
