Account Sync and Scottrade
Is anybody using Scottrade with Account Sync? I called the
local office of Scottrade and the office did not aware of
Account Sync.

Hi Ray,

We're not using Scottrade, but we use Firstrade. They are not familiar
either. I have asked tech support to please send me a couple of paragraphs
about bivio.com and the AccountSync program, along with instructions, so I
can pass it on to my broker. I have not received it yet.

From what I understand, bivio programmers are very busy with server updates,
tax stuff and other improvements, and are not actively pursuing brokers, on
our behalf. I was told that, if we want our broker on the program, we
needed to go after them ourselves.

We've been using it for several months now without a glitch.
Bivio told us how to set it up when we signed on --- a piece
of cake. We do, however, have to record our own bank
deposits since Scottrade does not have checking accounts for
investment clubs.

Thanks, Judy. Scottrade works with AccountSync just fine.

You might consider dropping your checking account as recommended in

You are correct: We are not actively seeking new brokers. The largest
brokers are already on our system. Some brokers are contacting us,
and we're talking with them. This takes time, sometimes a *long*
time.

We are actively working on some system performance upgrades. These
will be released over the coming weeks.

Rob
Listen up all you Firstrade customers:

I'm working with Eric in customer support to put together a request for
Firstrade. If you use this broker and would like to get the AccountSync
program up and running, would you please respond here. I'd like to get a
count of current clubs to let them know we're serious.
