Strange ticker
Hello,
Our books are almost back in order. Under
Accounting/Investments I see a ticker with numbers and a
letter e.g. 12345X123. This is not on our TDAmeritrade
brokerage account. Is this something that bivio uses to
keep track of something or should I delete this?
Thanks Barry

Ameritrade will often assign a name like this to an old security when
it has a name or CUSIP change. If there are no entries associated with
it in bivio, you can safely delete it.

Be careful, this could be a security change or delisted
security. That number is a CUSIP, which all securities
have. You should call your broker and find out what went
on. It could be a worthless security and you could just
hold it, because sometimes there would be settlements down
the road.
