club_cafe: Import into BIVIO - A Spinoff Stock did not import
Thanks, Bob.  As long as I know that my receiving the e-mails doesn't mean that someone is relying on my knowledge.  I was so thrilled that I got everything balanced and successfully navigated that fed tax program.  Now I am at a loss.  I know I did  state taxes last year, but I don't remember what to calculate for the the few lines I need.  I have an e-mail into Jen Powers. Hope she can help.  Liz

Hi, Liz!

Just a quick note to say hello and to let you know that I recently signed-up for the free bivio service.  I am pleased with the support I have received thus far.  Have you contacted support@bivio.com to let them know about your missing info?  I'm pretty confident they can assist you with your leaking boat!!!!

As for receiving the message to Frank, my hunch is that you may have inadvertently signed-up to receive the e-mail version of The Club Cafe messages and responses.  If you do not want to receive the messages and responses, go to The Club Cafe page and click on the "Leave" button.  That should keep the messages out of your inbox.  However, I find the e-mail notification to be very informative...I just delete anything that doesn't interest me.  It is much easier than checking the Cafe periodically.

Please post a message in the Cafe when you have some free time.  I'd like to get your impressions of bivio vs ICLUB.  Our club is still evaluating the programs and will need to make a subscription decision soon.

Best wishes,

Frank,  I am in a worse boat than you.  All of my club accounting prior to 2005 when I joined Bivio is missing.  I am still trying to retrieve it.  This is the next major task after taxes are done.  Of course Club accounting now has NJ taxes and Bivio doesn't.  Grrrrrh!

Anyway, I don't know why your mail came to me.  I am not a help resource.  Good luck

Liz

Liz,

No problem!  You will definitely learn a lot from monitoring the messages that are posted in The Club Cafe.  Don't ever feel intimidated about asking a question, no matter how trivial you think it might be.  The Club Cafe has numerous visitors who are more tax oriented than I am and they live, as well as love, to provide answers to all of the inquiring minds who stop by for a quick cappuccino or two!

Jen Powers is an awesome support to contact but, like so many others at tax time, I'm sure she is deluged with questions each day.  So, "just for the fun of it", post a question in The Club Cafe about your tax form needs and let's see how quickly you get your answers!  I bet you have an answer by the end of the day!

Also, Liz, I've learned that it helps to put your name as well as the location of your club whenever you post a message.  That helps all of us get to know each other better while ensuring that others don't look at us like we are the experts!!!

Best wishes,
