bivio's ex-dividend dates and dividend payout dates do not
agree with earnings.com dates. How important is it that the
dates agree? I see one of the dividend payout date our club
received was off by one day but the ex-dividend date was off
by one month.

The ticker symbol is ITU, a Brazilian firm, Banco Itausa. Bivio reported
the payout date of 2/13 while earnings.com reports it as 2/12. Bivio web
site has a block to click for the ex-dividend date. It reported the date as
11/01/2006. Earnings.com reported it as 3 Jan. 2007. Also, the 12 Jan.
2007 payout, ex-dividend date was also reported a 1 Nov. 2006 instead of 1
Dec. 2006.

I'm assuming you mean that the payout date was when you received the
dividend? If so, it's when your broker records it, and bivio simply
imports that date into your accounting.

We cannot guarantee the accuracy of our ex-dividend dates. It's not
clear that Earnings.com will guarantee their data either. We
understand your concern. I did some research, and it was very
difficult to find what the ex-dividend date actually is. If you can
find the SEC filings that specify the ex-dividend dates, I would be
very interested in learning how you found them.
