On another note.....does Bivio have a "suspense" account? Sure, if you create it. I've been using one for years.

I have been keeping club books with IClub for years. The only time I can remember using the suspense account was to facilitate the payment of a withdrawing member. I am sure there are other uses that would make my bookkeeping more simple...I just don't know what they are <grin> MARIE L. Out of Pocket Expenses is covered in our help topic, here's an excerpt: You can handle out of pocket expenses by members without a checking account. Instead of writing checks, members pay for expenses directly with their credit cards. This is how many companies handle expenses. The member then submits an "expense report" to the treasure who enters the expense and reimburses the member with units, instead of cash. Learn more at http://www.bivio.com/hp/out-of-pocket-expenses.html For withdrawals, you should enter them in the Suspense account, issue or write the check, and then identify an account transfer when AccountSync records the transaction. We tend to recommend you create two accounts for the two problems, but you don't have to, and can use the traditional Suspense account. Rob |
