Account Sync w/free trial
How do I initiate Account Sync with our three month free
trial. I have already given the name of our brokerage firm,
the account number, our logon ID, and the password.

Bivio's websight indicates all should have access to account
sync with their free trial...but when you click on the
subscribe button....it asks for a credit card number.

I was hoping to have access to account sync without having
to give a credit card number.

Any help will be appreciated...

Hi, Marie!
The AccountSync function is definitely free during your
trial subscription period. You do not need to provide
credit card information. The following directions were
provided in earlier postings:
Rob posted:
"There's a notice near the top of every screen of your Club
Site that says:
                Missing Brokerage Information
              Enter your AccountSync brokerage.
                     Just click on the link."

Mike Carroll posted:
"Another path to your AccountSync setup, besides the one Rob
mentioned, is to go to Accounting/accounts, and click on
the "info" link to the right of your brokerage account. You
might need to use this path later if, say, you goof setting
up AccountSync the first time (like we did), or change
brokers, or whatever."

I hope this info will help you master the initial sign-up
challenge!

I see now that I just needed to be patient. When I looked
at the broker account this morning....the transactions were
there.

Is there any "button to push" or any "path to follow" if we
wanted to force the account sync to run right away?

When does the account sync "do it's thing"....Does it do it
in the night?, every hour, three times a day, etc etc.

On another note.....does Bivio have a "suspense" account?
Or are calcuations made in such a way that there is no need
for the suspense account?

Thanks for your help,

Marie,
A quick answer to your question regarding forcing
AccountSync. From a posting on 1/06/07:

"Your transactions will be imported the next morning, when
we import all transactions (after brokers close their
books).

You can't "force" an update. If your transactions aren't in
by
Monday, email support@bivio.com, and we'll help you out.

Rob"

Hope this archived message helps answer your question.
