There is currently a spirited discussion in the BI
   Treasurer's Forum regarding problems that exist when
   various multiple transactions are made on the same day.
   It seems these transactions cause the software to "choke"
   and not give an accurate accounting for unit changes.
The following exchange from the Forum has been slightly
edited for this posting but the essence of the problem is
accurately depicted.
<<"Entering member payments, and equally allocated expenses,
on the same day will cause a choke" (in ICLUB software).
"Anything that involves unit changes, which includes member
payments, withdrawals, equally allocated expenses, or
valuation dates, should not be on the same day.">>
My questions to the Cafe' are: Does the same type of
"choke" happen in the bivio software? Can we enter
"anything that involves unit changes, which includes member
payments, withdrawals, equally allocated expenses, or
valuation dates on the same day"?

Bob, the 'choking' problem has been fixed on the latest updates, just out
today. My personal advice is still, avoid two entries involving units on
the same day, no matter what software you use. Gene

Yes. bivio does not "choke" and never has on same day transactions.
